NASA Student Airborne Research Program (SARP)

This summer of 2024, I was selected as a coding mentor for the NASA Student Airborne Research Program (SARP). From airborne science flights to ground truthing experiments, talking live at the International Space Station, meeting astronauts, and listening to Professor Donald Blake’s inspiring stories, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I taught my first scientific programming class and loved teaching and mentoring the NASA interns. The best part of the program was the people I met there. The science mentors, students, and NASA leadership -  everyone brought unique perspectives and shared their stories, always being respectful, kind, and caring toward each other. I am proud to be a part of the NASA SARP family!
